Arnold Msoffe, the Head of Risk & Compliance at UBX Tanzania Limited, is a seasoned professional with a robust background in risk management, compliance, and information technology. With over a decade of hands-on experience, Arnold has established a proven track record in the ICT industry. His professional journey began in the mining industry, starting as IT Tech at Barrick Gold Corporation in 2011. He thereafter served as an IT Analyst and IMT First Line Leader. He joined UBX in 2017 as an IT Services Coordinator and was able to climb the career ladder to his current position as the Head of Risk & Compliance.
Arnold holds an Advanced Diploma in IT from the Institute of Accountancy Arusha and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in project planning and management. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and a Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP).
In his role as Head of Risk & Compliance at UBX, Arnold envisions creating a safe and risk-aware environment, ensuring the company thrives in the rapidly evolving fintech landscape. His focus is on preparing the company to handle both internal and external challenges with agility while adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
