Erick Ndedya has over 17 years in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. His career journey with UBX began in February 2006 where he progressed from being a Systems Engineer to becoming a strategic leader overseeing the technological landscape of our company.
Beginning as a Systems Engineer in 2006, Erick quickly advanced to Senior Systems Engineer by 2008, contributing significantly to customer experience solutions. In 2012, he took on the role of Senior Manager, responsible for the delivery of IT services to both internal and external clients. In 2021, Erick assumed the pivotal position of Chief Information Technology Officer, where he now manages all aspects of technology within the company, including customer services, partner relationships, and business expansion strategies.
Erick holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Dar es Salaam. His extensive credentials include certifications such as CISA, CISM, CGEIT, PRINCE II Practitioner in Project Management, COBIT 5, and a Certificate in Directorship from the Institute of Directors Tanzania (IoDT).
Erick’s achievements include significant revenue growth, successful transitioning of services, substantial cost reductions in network connectivity, securing substantial business partnerships with notable OEMs, and championing the PCI DSS Certification for our infrastructure within a commendable six-month timeframe.
